O'Malley & BGE's Lightbulb Scam

Did you know that BGE is paying Home Depot and Costco to discount the price of compact flourescent light bulbs? While this seems like a nice, friendly gesture, to pay for this they've added a surcharge to your monthly bill. Whether you actually purchase a bulb or not, you pay for this discount. Not only that, BGE has paid out far less than they've charged their customers so this is making them a rather large, multi-million dollar profit and all with the blessing of Gov. O'Malley's Public Service Commission.

Washington DC solves it's gang problems...

by refusing to call them gangs. They're not "gangs" they're "crews".

Our Nation's Capitol is good at this sort of thing. They solved they're gun-crime problem by making it illegal for anyone to own a gun. So, I'm guessing that these gangs, excuse me, "crews" are busy killing each other with crossbows.
